Amiga Space Flight Shooter, Star Fighter by GeoSync media 1999. This is a space shooter for the lower spec Amigas that cant run Freespace. But thats no bad thing is it is a very good attempt at a Wingcommander/Freespace type game. Im not sure, but this game may have been made in the Amos programming package. I think there was some timming/sync issues within WinUAE that was making the game hard to control and the radar almost useless.

I’ve only met (if you can call it that) Tori once. It was in Oakland. July 11, 1996. I hate being starstruck, but I have to admit, I was. It was just incredible to feel her hands after having just watched her make the most amazing music. I asked her to play this song the following night. She wrote it on her hand and said she would try to remember. She remembered. About 3 concerts too late. : ( I was disappointed, but I still love the song. Problem is, I’ve never really liked it live. The band version is just too much and purely acoustic, it kind of drags. To me, the horns are integral to the power of the song. This was my first attempt at programming instruments. It’s not perfect. But it’s a start.

An Amiga Demo/Music Disk made by FX finalized 01 December 1993 using AMOS. Coding, Graphics and Music remix by Demonoid Productions, that would be me, yes. The music remade was Culture Beat with Mr. Vain, a real old school dance/techno classic. Sorry for the “Loading and Decrunching”, but at least it’s real and authentic..haha! The module was about 602KB, which was at the time too much for a plain standard Amiga 500. An Amiga with 1MB Chip or more would do, but it require recompiling of the original source code which was damaged, so I couldn’t restore it in 2010. It ended up as it was back in the days, it required an Amiga 1200. The production was never released to Aminet or any other BBS out there, so enjoy a long forgotten and unknown production 17 years later. An Amiga Demo/Music Disk made by FX finalized 23 January 1994 using AMOS. Coding, Graphics and Music remix by Demonoid Productions, that would be me, yes. The music remade was Dance 2 Trance with Power of American Natives, a real old school dance/techno classic. Sorry for the 1minute loading and decrunching part, at least its true to its authentic nature :) The module was 665KB, which was at the time too much for a plain standard Amiga 500. An Amiga with 1MB Chip or more would do and originally this demo required an A1200, but I changed the code a bit in 2010, recompiled and made it 100% OFS and Amiga 500 1.2/1.3 with 1.5MB Chip needed and 0MB fast mem. The production was released to Aminet sometime in 1994 and ended up on their Aminet Set CD’s too. This is a demo for the Commodore Amiga which myself and Chris Eve (aka DJ eXcellence) made. As Chris lived in Norfolk, it involved sending code and music backwards and forwards on floppy disks so took quite a while to produce. It was coded in Amos Professional (ie BASIC) so there’s nothing too stunning in there, though I was quite proud of the image manipulation stuff where I could warp images pretty quickly. Most of the code was done by me and the music plus some additional effects by Chris. The scroller text seems to be broken. I’m not sure whether that’s due to a missing font or a bug in WinUAE. I had to cut it short just before the credits roll to fit under YouTube’s 10 minute limit, but that’s okay – they were really tedious anyway.
