READ THE DESCRIPTION FIRST!! Drum Bubble Fix below. Song: Database Corrupted Artist: Dealership I’ve come to like this song, plus it’s pretty fun to play on drums. I was quite disappointed that I didn’t get a full combo. I was so close, then I made a stupid mistake. I’m still trying to mess around with camera angles. This angle really wasn’t a good choice. I didn’t really have much room to show the chart without blocking the view of the pads. Along with that, I’m messing around with the formatting of my videos. I finally figured out how to effectively make widescreen with my editing program. Apparently, instead of the “Watch in HQ”, I have “Watch in HD”. Which makes the screen huge, and nicer quality. As for now, I’m going with the single cymbal setup. My other cymbal has lost almost all sensitivity, I was a little too rough on it. I’ll be using one cymbal until I send them in for a new set. I was originally planing on upgrading to the full cymbal package, but I am now getting a set of Ions for Christmas, so I’ll be make videos with those soon. As for the decals on the pads. I didn’t buy them for looks. They were an excellent fix the the ” bubble ” issue. Putting those stickers on the pads prevent the surface from bubbling. You can get them at the Rock Band website. Go here for more details www.rockband.com I have too many friends, and I will not be accepting friend invites anymore.

So, here we are at Drummania videos again. This is a lot of info this time, but it’s basically a quick runthrough of what Drummania is, and other stuff about the video too. Drummania was what got me into drumming, 6 years or so ago: a year of playing Drummania and I got myself a real kit because I loved drumming so much at that point. Konami puts out a ton of rhythm games all in the “BeMani” series. Drummania is their entry into drums, and the first drum simulation rhythm game ever, being released in 1999: it’s now on it’s 16th version (Drummania V6). From left to right, the icons/columns/notes mean: Left Cymbal (not used in the arcade) Hi-Hat Snare Bass Pedal Hi-Tom Lo-Tom Floor Tom (not used in the arcade) Crash Cymbal Ride Cymbal (not used in the arcade) What does the “not used in the arcade” stuff mean? This is a PC version of Drummania called DTXMania, which is meant to be played on a DTXPress set: thus it has additional lanes for usermade songs to utilize that weren’t on the arcade version, some of the upcoming videos i’ll be putting up will show those lanes being used. To get this to work with your computer, if you’ve got Windows, just plug in your drumkits and they should register. If not, you’d probably have to google it. :X Then just use a remapping program (like Joy2Key or something) and remap the pads to letters on the keyboard, then set those for inputs in the game. A few additional notes: -I’m not left handed, but this is how I learned how to play drums

Cold Pressed (1990) DAVE HOLLINDEN Born in 1958 Dave Hollinden has composed extensively for percussion. His works are widely performed by leading percussion ensembles in the US and overseas. In the words of critic John R. Raush, Hollinden’s music “derives movement from the juxtaposition of placid, serene sections with sections that are marked, to use the composer’s directions to the player, “restless,” “animated-excited,” “increasingly agitated” and “impassioned”. Dave Hollinden’s instrumentation for this multi-percussion work includes snare drum, two tom toms, bass drum with pedal, bongos, tambourine, three cowbells, two woodblocks, two temple blocks, two crotales, splash cymbal, crash cymbal and ride cymbal. According to Hollinden, the term Cold Pressed refers to the method of extracting olive oil which results in the most robust and full-bodied flavor. Syncopation, contrasting timbres and rock-influenced style are blended together in music which is vivid, spicy and obsessively persistent. Cold Pressed was commissioned by Nachiko Maekane and was premiered in Tokyo in 1990. Three out of four finalists chose Cold Pressed for their program in the multiple percussion solo competition at the 1994 Percussive Arts Society International Convention.

It’s totally legit and if you don’t believe me, try it for yourself! You think I’m good at drums? Check out this guy! www.youtube.com This guy not only plays the real drums, but he plays GHWT as well! He is trying to promote his website www.aBetterOpinion.com which determines which movies and games you won’t like. He also plays GHWT with a Roland TD-9 V-Drum Kit and HE DOESN’T EVEN LOOK AT THE SCREEN!!! So check out his channel, subscribe to him, and please check out his website! www.aBetterOpinion.com All credit goes to my dad for figuring this out. He heard about the GHWT drums having a MIDI input port and that is one of the reasons he got it because he knows about MIDI stuff and how MIDI is a universal language. It is so confusing using the TD-9 drums with GHWT, but I think that is just because the TD-9 drums only have 3 cymbals, when the yellow cymbal in GHWT is used for Hi-Hat and secondary crash and the orange is used for crash and Ride. If someone like Egyokeo that has a TD-20 with more cymbals and drum heads, it wouldn’t be “as” complicated, but it is really hard with the TD-9
