This is a simple video of my first shot at DMX Hardware Controller programming. I am not sure I really like the Hardware controller right now, but it’s better than just doing a sound activated light show. Although, these lights are triggered by sound, they are chased in such a way that it is not going by the factory program of the lights.

ABC DJ Services presents the latest light show video. This is my second attempt at programming the Chauvet DMX-7 DMX Hardware Controller. It only has 8 fixture buttons, but will do 12 channels of DMX per fixture. I have all my lights running independantly. I ran the 6 channel lights on one fixture button, but can control them individually using the page button on the controller. Also in this video I am running the MBT HZ-100 haze machine. It’s kind of noisey, but it runs without turning it off. So far I am very happy with the results. I can’t wait to take it to a venue and really stress test the whole setup.
