It’s been a while, currently using tG² v1.04.04 with template version 1.4. Several updates and new functions, including source code editor, toolbar designer, menu designer, and module designer. I have been examining the tclers wiki site for a while and even made my own contribution, the ctext widget is an amazing piece of gadget, so is freewrap and all other packages (such as iWidgets) enabling us to create the basic controls and feels of a tool in minutes ! How many times did you need to design a toolbar and needed that specific icon you had used long time ago for a project? But, which project was it ? Or, you need a new icon and google pops up gazillion sites to parse through ? Well, look no more. tG² offers the ability to download .png and/or .gif files from specific websites, the list of websites is maintained by the author. These selected websites offer icons for free, so no copyright infringement. As long as the size of each icon is less then 7kB, it will download it and save it to a subfolder inside the tG² folder. At the end of this video, the project is saved to be able to reuse/reload it in the future. DigiEvo is a program simulating evolution in a digital medium. The digital organisms copy their code to other cells, and naturally the fastest breeding one will fill up the whole simulation eventually. The organisms DNA can evolve by mutation and recombination, as can be seen in the video. This video is sped up 64x, and shows a simulation in progress, from the start, with 1 digital organism, to about 500000 steps in.
